Basic Information
3,5-dihydroxypentyl benzene, also known as 5-amyl,1,3-dihydroxy-5-amyl,and 5-amyl 1,3-benzol,is a lavender powder naturally occurring in lichens. Some insects can generate 3,5-dihydroxypentyl benzene or obtain it by demethylation of 3,5-dimethoxy pentylene by boron tribromide. This natural polyphenol compound has various biological activities and has bactericidal activities against bacteria and fungi of various pathogens.
Cannabinoids are compounds with similar chemical structure that play a certain role in physiological activities of human body.
Cannabinoids have the functions of anti-hypertension,anti-authentication,analgesia,sedation and digestion aid.One of the important raw materials for the synthesis of cannabinoids is 3,5-dihydroxypentyl benzene.
In addition, it has been found that high concentrations of 3,5-dihydroxypentyl benzene in the presence of copper chloride and oxygen can break DNA and cause immune deficiency, cancer and other malignant tumors caused by retrovirus. It has been isolated and treated by 3,5-dihydroxypentyl benzene.
