Tyrosol
Tyrosol, a derivative of phenylethanol, not only attenuates TNF-α and IL-6 levels released by astrocytes, but also reduces NF-κB activation. Tyrosol has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, and is mainly used as pharmaceutical intermediates in the preparation of petalol, metoxinam and other drugs. In addition, it can also be used as intermediates in organic synthesis.
